Lift Truck Operator
Participants will receive instruction on the applicable legislation, operating principles, engineering/stability principles, operating rules and safe handling of related fuel sources for Industrial Lift Trucks. In addition a practical skills evaluation will need to be conducted to complete the certification. It is recommended that retraining be conducted at least every 3 years for the theory and 18 months for the practical as required under the CSA Standard for Lift Trucks.
Duration: 8 hour theory plus practical evaluations

Aerial Platform Operator
Participants will receive instruction on the safe operating rules, limitations and use for these machines. The instruction will also include the requirements for conducting a pre-shift inspection, site inspection, start up and shut down procedures for scissor type and boom type aerial lifts. Applicable legislation will also be included in the course. In addition a practical skills evaluation will be required to complete the training. Fall arrest instruction will also be provided in this course.
Duration: 4 hour theory plus practical evaluation
Low Lift Pallet Truck

Crane and Hoist Operator
Participants will receive instruction on the applicable legislation, operating principles, rigging selection and principles, and operating rules for the safe use of Overhead Cranes, Jib Cranes, and Hoists. In addition a practical skills evaluation will need to be conducted to complete the certification.
It is recommended that retraining be conducted at least every 2 years

Industrial Hoisting and Rigging - NEW!
Interactive classroom theory, equipment demonstration and safe lifting demonstrations. The objective of this instruction is the safe and efficient use of rigging, materials, and hoisting equipment.

Front End Loader - NEW!
Front-end loaders are versatile and can be a valuable tool. However, they change the center of gravity and the stability in the tractor-loader combination, so they can be dangerous if not operated properly. This course is designed to teach employees how to safely operate a front-end loader. How to complete Pre/Post-shift inspections and learn what their legal requirements are as a Competent Operator.

Skid Steer Operator
This program is designed to provide operator knowledge in safe operation of skid-steer loaders. Topics covered include equipment & work-site inspections, applicable OHSA regulations, hazard identification, operator restraint devices, load handling & placement.

Automotive Hoists / Lifts Safety - NEW!
A variety of vehicle lifts are used throughout the automotive industry. This course will discuss the in-ground and surface-mounted lifts that are most commonly used types in the industry.
Safe vehicle lifting requires a consistent safety and health program, regular maintenance and worker training.
These are the responsibility if the employer. It is the employer's duty to see that no one operates or maintains a lift without proper training.

Propane Handling Awareness
Designed specifically for customers who use propane, but don't require technical training, this course will provide the basics of propane use. This course will cover such topics as basic product knowledge, preventative measures and first-aid, propane containers, the operation of propane-fuelled appliances, and how to read the gauges on your propane containers.

Pedestrian Safety Awareness
Participants will learn about the hazards represented by working in proximity to mobile equipment in the workplace. They will learn rules to follow as well as safe work practice as they apply to this topic.

Highway Traffic Act
This introductory course gives practical instruction on referencing and applying HTA legislation to training and operations scenarios. Participants learn the basic structure and terminology used in the HTA, and practice applying specific methods for finding information. An informal, interactive workshop encourages discussion among participants.

Driving Techniques
For employees who drive either a company vehicle or their own vehicle on the job, safe driving is a matter of occupational safety. This course will demonstrate the importance of spatial awareness as well as other defensive techniques. These techniques are for the operation of light and medium duty vehicles.

Traffic Control
This program is for those who may be involved in planning, communicating, or implementing traffic control and protection plans for highway work zones. Participants use the Ontario Ministry of Transportation's Ontario Traffic Manual, Book 7: Temporary Conditions (Office Edition) as a reference in class.
